NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, New York Bureau) – Talk about self-incrimination.
Raissa Robles who is currently in the United States promoting her book and giving small talk critical of the Duterte Governent, has been detained by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of the Department of Homeland Security.
The arrest happened while Robles was taking a selfie in front of the Statue of Liberty on Ellis Island.
ICE is now investigating ‘credible information’ that Robles is holding a Philippine passport stamped with a fake U.S visa.
Ironically, the credible information came from Robles herself who wrote the following on her blog in October of 2016:
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles,Manila Bureau) – The regisnation of Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Chair Andy Bautista is effective immediately!
WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles,Washington Bureau) – “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” These were the famous words of one of the most-loved presidents of the United States — John F. Kennedy.
Some 7,000 miles away in the Philippines, a JFK wannabe is now being accused of semi-plagiarism. And the Kennedy Estate is suing the Vice President of the Philippines.
