Filipinos Who Oppose National ID Will Get One Anyway (Updated)

3A1E8E87-EAFD-4291-8DB5-1FABDEF4016A.jpegMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Some six million Filipinos will receive their nationl ID when the first batch will be released in September this year, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority.

However, not all Filipinos favor the implementation of a national identification card.  Some would rather have multiple IDs, including those fake ones being printed and sold at the corner of Taft Ave and Recto St.

They claim ‘invasion of privacy,’ not realizing that everything about them is already public just by being on Facebook, having a bank or credit card, applying for a passport, shopping online or purchasing a smart phone.

Regardless, those who oppose a national ID will get one anyway, and the good news is that it’s free.

The only difference between the legitimate national ID and the ID for those who oppose it is that instead of the word “Resident” (Res) under the category line, those opposing will have “TNT” printed on the face of their ID.

TNT” stands for ‘tago ng tago’ (always hiding) and refers to undocumented Filipinos in the U.S. who constantly change addresses in order to avoid immigration authorities.

VP Leni Robredo And Company Will Revisit Holocaust Memorial On Monday, Memorial Day

4362906B-4B07-4C54-AF1E-E5958FE7AB5D.pngQUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – You can always right a wrong, and that’s exactly what Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo and her company of Liberal Party politicians will be doing on Monday, Memorial Day.  They will make a trip back to the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin, Germany.

Many will recall that Robredo and company were harshly criticized for the groupie picture at the Memorial showing them all in big smiles, in a display of insensitivity to the somber mood and historical significance of the public venue.

This time around, Robredo spokesperson Georgina Hernandez said the group will make sure to be photographed frowning or even shedding a tear or two.

Apparently, Robredo thought that Memorial Day commemorates all historical Memorials across the globe.

Memorial Day is actually a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country’s armed forces.

But Robredo and company had already booked their flights, and their tickets are non-refundable. So, tuloy ng laban

10% Of Filipino Bishops And Priests Approve Of Pope Francis’ Latest Statement On Homosexuality

F663555B-2EE8-4B87-91B1-C59EE93D5A9CMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) –  The Independent reports that a victim of clerical sex abuse has said Pope Francis told him God made him gay and his sexuality “does not matter”.

Juan Carlos Cruz spoke privately with the pontiff last week about the abuse he suffered at the hands of a prominent Chilean priest.

After his sexuality came up in conversation, Francis reportedly told him: “Juan Carlos, that you are gay does not matter. God made you like that and loves you like this and I don’t care. The Pope loves you like this. You have to be happy with who you are.”

Reacing to the Pope’s statement, 10% of the Filipino Catholic Bishops and priests interviewed by The Adobo Chronicles said that they fully support the Pontiff’s stance on homosexuality.

It’s just coincidence that 10% is the common estimate of the number of homosexuals, according to the Kinsey Reports on male sexuality.
