Bikoy Video: Catholic Teaching Could Incriminate Bishop Socrates Villegas

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Dagupan Bureau) – Former Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) President Socrates Villegas has vehemently denied involvement in any plot to overthrow the government of President Rodrigo Duterte.

In a signed statement, Villegas denied being at a meeting on December 12, 2018 with the plotters, saying he was delivering a homily at the first mass of a newly-ordained priest friend.

”I have no capacity to be in two places at the same time,” he declared.

But a teaching by the Catholic Church could incriminate Villegas and      dispute his claim.

The teaching: “God is everywhere.”

Not just in two places at the same time. Everywhere.

LONDON, United Kingdom (The Adobo Chronicles, Paris Bureau) – When in Rome, do as the Romans do.  When in Great Britain, wear a tuxedo as the British do, especially when you’re visiting the Queen.

Most everyone has now seen a photo of US President Donald Trump wearing a tux to Buckingham Palace.  It was hard to figure out whether he was wearing an oversized vest or an undersized coattail, but his wardrobe malfunction has not escaped the discerning eye of the world’s fashion police,

So, The Adobo Chronicles asked Henry Golding, star of ”Crazy Rich Asians,” who by the way is half-British, to model for us and show Trump how to wear (or not to wear) a tux.
