10% Of Filipino Bishops And Priests Approve Of Pope Francis’ Latest Statement On Homosexuality

F663555B-2EE8-4B87-91B1-C59EE93D5A9CMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) –  The Independent reports that a victim of clerical sex abuse has said Pope Francis told him God made him gay and his sexuality “does not matter”.

Juan Carlos Cruz spoke privately with the pontiff last week about the abuse he suffered at the hands of a prominent Chilean priest.

After his sexuality came up in conversation, Francis reportedly told him: “Juan Carlos, that you are gay does not matter. God made you like that and loves you like this and I don’t care. The Pope loves you like this. You have to be happy with who you are.”

Reacing to the Pope’s statement, 10% of the Filipino Catholic Bishops and priests interviewed by The Adobo Chronicles said that they fully support the Pontiff’s stance on homosexuality.

It’s just coincidence that 10% is the common estimate of the number of homosexuals, according to the Kinsey Reports on male sexuality.

Pinoy Ako Blog’s Jover Laurio Blames Rappler And Vera Files For FB Account Suspension

FCA7B7CF-F9F3-4F98-A79E-340FDB96F26FMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Pinoy Ako Blog’s (PAB) Jover Laurio’s account was suspended by Facebook, with the social media giant claiming that Laurio is posing as somebody that she is not.

Immediately, Laurio blamed Rappler and Vera Files, both designated as Facebook’s Philippine partners in fact-checking posts and information on social meda, especially Facebook.

’Akala ko ba BFFs tayo,” Laurio asked of Rappler and Vera Files (I thought we were best friends forever).

Laurio told The Adobo Chronicles that she thinks Rappler and Vera Files were both jealous because PAB had more followers and engagements than Rappler and Vera Files combined.

Moral of the story: professional (and unprofessional) jealousy exists even among the Dilawans.
