NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – FOX News just revealed that it has hired Steve Harvey to announce the name of the next president of the United States.
While anchors from different news networks will call Tuesday’s election in favor of either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, FOX News has chosen to have Harvey do the honors.
Harvey is well known for announcing the wrong Miss Universe and first runner-up in last year’s beauty pageant, saying that Miss Colombia had won the crown although it was clear in the cheat sheet that Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was the winner.
FOX News executives told The Adobo Chronicles that Harvey is the perfect choice to make the call Tuesday night.
“If Harvey announces Clinton as the winner, nobody would believe him, especially the loyal viewers of FOX News; if he announces Trump, then the Republican candidate would enjoy a few minutes of being named president before Harvey admits it was the wrong call,” they said.
It’s the Miss Universe moment all over again, but this time, it could be a win-win situation for FOX News. Or Trump.

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Journalists from major print and broadcast news outlets in the Philippines will stage a picket in front of The Philippine Star offices in Mandaluyong City to protest the new designation given to controversial entertainer-turned-political blogger Mocha Uson.
HONOLULU, Hawaii (The Adobo Chronicles, Honolulu Bureau) – The latest bombshell announced by Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Dueterte was a supposed plot by Filipina American millionaire Loida Nicolas-Lewis and Hungarian American billionaire George Soros to unseat him, a plan that was apparently being hatched by Filipino Americans.
