HOW THE WORLD TURNS: FOX NEWS’ SEAN HANNITY WALKS OUT ON SHOW’S GUEST

NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles) – The late Joan Rivers did it, and so did other guests on network talk shows — walk out of the set because they didn’t like the line of questioning by the host.

For the first time in network television history, it was the other way around : the host walked out on his guest.

We’re talking about FOX News conservative talk show host Sean Hannity. He just couldn’t handle his guest Gavin McInness.

McInnes, co-founder of Vice Media and noted transphobic, was on Hannity’s show recently to discuss women’s pay with FOX co-host Tamara Holder.

“Women do earn less in America because they choose to. They would rather go to their daughter’s piano recital than stay all night at work, working on a proposal so they end up earning less. They’re less ambitious. And I think this is God’s way, nature’s way of saying women should be at home with the kids.”

Holder, hardly a hero of modern feminism herself, immediately described the comments as “deplorable”. McInnes then told her she would be “much happier at home with a husband and children.”

At this point, Holder turned to Hannity and asked him to speak up and defend his women viewers.  Hannity could only put his hand on his face and say, ‘Oh boy.’ Then Hannity walked out of the live broadcast.

Should we have more McInneses? Or should FOX News have more Hannitys?

We think the Sean Hannity show should move to FOX Entertainment. We might actually watch it!

TEXAS LAWMAKERS: ‘WACO SHOOTOUT A HUGE BLESSING’

imageWACO, Texas (The Adobo Chronicles)  – The biker gang shootout at the Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco that killed nine and left 17 more injured is a “blessing,” according to Texas lawmakers.

State legislators made this comment as they prepared to take up a firearms open carry bill authored by Republican Rep. Larry Phillips.  The measure would allow licensed gun owners the right to open carry in most public places.

Gov. Greg Abbott and the Legislature’s strong Republican majority have pushed open carry as an important gun rights and self-defense measure. Most Democrats have opposed it, noting concerns from police in the state’s largest cities and gun control advocates about public safety. The state Senate has already passed its own open carry bill.

“We don’t need any more testimony from those who support the proposed measure, or from  those who oppose it. The Waco shootout was a sign from God to push us in approving the gun rights law,” the legislators said in unison.

“If citizens had been allowed to carry handguns and other firearms openly in public, the biker gang members involved in the shootout would have been afraid to shoot knowing that the restaurant owners and patrons would have joined in the gun fight, just like people see in Wild Wild West movies,” they added.

Expect a smooth sailing for Phillips’ bill this week. Governor Abbott says he can’t wait to sign the bill into law

TEXAS APPROVES NEW DEATH ROW MEAL TO EASE EXECUTIONS

imageDALLAS, Texas (The Adobo Chronicles) – Texas is among the 32 states that still have the death penalty on their books. The Lone Star State is known for the most number of executions.

In an effort to rid itself of the unsavory reputation as the ‘killer state,’ and to cut down on the state government’s enormous expenditure for its death row inmates waiting for execution, Texas has adopted a new mandatory meal for all inmates on death row.

The meal, concocted by ‘the vulgar chef,’ consists of left over french fries wrapped around a cheeseburger and fried in butter.

The meal guarantees the immediate clogging of death row inmates’ arteries, leading to a heart attack within a few weeks from the start of the meal program.

Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott told The Adobo Chronicles  that he is very pleased with the new execution protocol because it frees the state as well as the assigned executioners from the guilt  of taking someone’s life. The governor said that it also saves the state millions of dollars otherwise spent in feeding and taking care of death row convicts awaiting their date with death.
