PHILIPPINES PRESIDENTIAL RACE: DONALD TRUMP IS NOT THE WEIRDEST CANDIDATE AFTER ALL

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles) – If you think U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is the weirdest of them all — proposing to build a great wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and promising to deport 11 Million undocumented immigrants — think again.

Nothing beats the declared candidates for Philippine president — all 130 of them. Especially Arturo Pacheco.

Pacheco is running on a unique platform vowing to make the Philippines the 51st U.S. state and proposing legislation that would create four seasons in the Philippines: winter, spring, summer and fall.

Of course, the Philippines, being tropical country located above the equator, only has two seasons — the dry season and the wet season.

Pacheco’s proposal resonates well with Filipino voters who are tired of scorching heat and devastating typhoons. They are looking forward to snow, falling leaves, spring blossoms and some breezy Hawaii weather.

U.S. CONGRESS HALTS CONSTRUCTION OF NEW PHILIPPINE EMBASSY AND CENTER IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adocho Chronicles) – The Congress of the United States has filed a complaint against the construction of a new Philippine Embassy and Center in Washington, D.C.

The new construction involves a 46-storey building that will house the Philippine Embassy as well as government and private suites owned or managed by Filipino individuals and organizations.

It resembles the Torre de Manila condominium project which has been the subject of controversy and lawsuits in the Philippines because it was “photobombing” the Dr. Jose Rizal (Philippines’ national hero) monument in Luneta Park.

John Boehner, in one of his last initiatives before he steps down as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, said that the new construction obliterates not only the skyline of Washington, D.C, but the solemn and historical significance of the Capitol Building. “We must stop the construction,” Boehner said.

KIM DAVIS RELEASES PHOTO TO PROVE SHE MET IN PRIVATE WITH POPE FRANCIS

ROWAN COUNTY, KY (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – After The Vatican’s official clarification that Pope Francis’ meeting with Kim Davis was not a “private audience” as the Rowan County clerk claimed, Liberty Counsel (Davis’ attorneys) went on a damage-control mode.

Following documented media reports that the only private audience the Pope gave was with his long-time Argentinian student/friend and his same-sex partner, Davis and her lawyers released a photo taken during her meeting with Francis to prove that the private audience did happen.

Here is the photo Liberty Counsel released to the media today.

The Vatican has some explaining to do.
