ANN COULTER ANNOUNCES SHE IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT, JOINS DONALD TRUMP IN ATTACKING MEXICANS

imageNEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – “The media was consumed with stories about Americans have to be on the lookout for ISIS attacks and terror attack expected and, oooh, shark attacks, but I will bet you by the end of the weekend more Americans will have been killed by Mexicans than by ISIS or by sharks.”

With those words, conservative columnist Ann Coulter announced on FOX News that she was running for president of the United States –  the 15th (or 16th, we can’t keep count) Republican — and the first woman — to do so.

She follows in the footsteps of Donald Trump, who in announcing his bid for the Republican presidential nomination, attacked Mexicans, calling them “rapists, drug addicts and criminals.” Apparently, Trump’s campaign strategy worked. He now leads all Republican candidates in the polls.

Coulter hopes that she, too, will surge in the polls with her comments about Mexicans.

In the course of its investigation for this news story, The Adobo Chronicles®  uncovered a little known fact that Coulter once applied to join the Miss USA contest in the hopes of becoming Miss Universe. Her application was denied by no less than pageant owner Trump.

Expect some fireworks in the Republican presidential debates, courtesy of Trump and Coulter.

TEXAS GOVERNOR RICK PERRY AGREES TO PLEA BARGAIN ON FELONY CHARGES

Austin, Texas (The Adobo Chronicles) – Texas Governor Rick Perry was indicted by a grand jury for allegedly abusing the powers of his office by threatening to veto funding for state prosecutors investigating public corruption. If found guilty of the two felony charges, Perry will be the first indicted governor of the state of Texas in nearly 100 years.

The two counts – abuse of official authority and coercion of a public servant – carry a combined maximum punishment of 109 years in federal prison.

Perry was expected to make a second run for president in the 2016 U.S. presidential elections.

Realizing that his political career is all but over, Perry, 64, announced that he has agreed to a plea bargain to lessen the potential punishment for the felonies.

An attorney for Perry told The Adobo Chronicles that his client has agreed  to pleading guilty on both counts in exchange for a 50% reduction in jail time — from 109 to 54 1/2 years.

As part of the plea bargain, Perry will ask the court to allow him to be transferred to a high-security retirement home once he reaches the age of 100. As an alternative, Perry proposed that he be incarcerated in the Philippines, a former colony of the U.S., where convicted high government officials like ex-presidents and senators are locked in designer jail cells or placed under hospital arrest.

A federal court is expected to rule on the plea bargain next week.

CNN CALLS 2016 U.S. PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS FOR HILLARY

Johannesburg, South Africa –  The 2016 U.S. Presidential Election is over.  At 10:12 p.m, eastern time last night, the most respected and credible cable news network in the world called the election and declared Hillary Clinton the winner.

Republicans and the red states are just now just waking up to the news that they had lost yet another election without even trying.

Soon after calling the election, CNN reported that President Hillary Clinton has arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa, to join President Barack Obama and former Presidents George W. Bush and Jimmy Carter at ceremonies honoring the late Nelson Mandela.

The Adobo Chronicles has learned that elaborate plans for Clinton’s inauguration in January 2017 are now being put together. No less than future First Man Bill Clinton is heading up the inaugural committee.
