DONALD TRUMP: ‘I MISSPOKE’

imageLAS VEGAS, Nevada (The Adobo Chronicles) – Facing intense criticism from both Democrats and his own Republican Party, presidential candidate Donald Trump used his Instagram account today to clarify his position on ‘Making American Great Again.’ That was his campaign theme when he announced his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination.

Trump made headlines today when he called for the banning of Muslims from entering the United States.

‘I am not apologizing for my statement,’ he said, ‘but this I can tell you: I misspoke when I said during my campaign launch that we can make America great again.  What I meant to say was that we can make America white again.’

Makes perfect sense.

POLLSTERS SHOCKED BY PROFILE OF DONALD TRUMP’S SUPPORTERS

(The Adobo Chronicles) –  A new CNN/ORC Republican presidential poll now finds Donald Trump with 36 percent of the vote, more than two times that of closest challenger Ted Cruz, who now stands at 16 percent. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and Florida Senator Marco Rubio are the only other GOP candidates currently polling in double figures at 14 and 12 percent, respectively.

It appears that every time Trump makes a ridiculous statement – whether it is about immigration or refugees or terrorism, his numbers would further go up.

Intrigued by what is now being called ‘The Donald Phenomenon,’ a coalition of pollsters decided to revisit all the major polls they each have conducted in the last year. What they found shocked the hell out of them.

The pollsters found that almost 90% of those who have voted for Trump in the polls belonged to the bottom half of the IQ spectrum.

While the pollsters chose not to disclose how they determined the demographics and IQ scores of the poll respondents, they made it absolutely clear that Trump voters had IQ scores ranging from 55 to 85 (mentally inadequate to low intelligence). The average IQ scores of Americans range between 86 and 100.

Finally, we know what’s causing ‘The Donald Phenomenon.’

LENI ROBREDO WITHDRAWS CANDIDACY AS LIBERAL PARTY VP CANDIDATE!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles) – If there is a poster lady for the Aquino administration’s mantra of daang matuwid (straight path), it is none other than Congresswoman Leni Robredo, who is the Liberal Party’s vice presidential candidate.  She is law-abiding, lives a life of simplicity, and has no qualms about criticizing the adminsitration or her party for failed policies or programs, as well as missteps.

So it is not surprising that today, she withdrew her candidacy as LP presidential candidate Mar Roxas’ running mate.

The reason? Roxas just violated the law.

Rules of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) prohibit candidates from early campaigning.  For the 2016 presidential elections, the campaign period set by the elections body is February 9 to May 7.

Roxas’ campaign, however, has just released a music video featuring celebrities and sports personalities which is obviously a campaign material in violation of the law.

While Robredo participated and appeared in the video, she told The Adobo Chronicles that she had no idea that the campaign material would be released this early.  She thought it was recorded for release on or after February 9.

Well, the video has gone viral but has also become exhibit A, in an elections violation case that could be filed against Roxas and the Liberal Party.

Robredo wants no part of  the illegal activity, so she decideed to withdraw her VP candidacy.

Good for her.
