QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – Philippines Vice President Leni Robredo’s much-ballyhooed report on her two-week stint as Co-chair of the Inter-agency Committee on Anti-illegal Drugs (ICAD) finally was unveiled yesterday.
While none of Robredo’s ‘findings’ and recommendations was earth-shattering, one of her revelations shocked many Filipinos. It even came with a bar graph.
Robredo claimed that only less than 1% of the estimated supply of shabu in the country had been seized in government law enforcement operations.
Asked by reporters who swarmed the Office of the Vice President at the Boracay Mansion in Quezon City for a delectable merienda (snack) treat what the signficance was of the number she divulged, Robredo said:
”It means that 99% of the shabu supply had already been consumed! In other words, there is no longer an illegal drug problem in the country. Duterte’s war on drugs can be stopped ASAP.”
QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – In a scathing rebuke of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and his war on illegal drugs, Vice President Leni Robredo said there is no drug problem in the Philippines.
Robredo finally released her findings and recommendations resulting from her two-week stint as co-chair of the Inter-agency Committee on Anti-illegal Drugs (ICAD).
Highlighted in her report was a graph showing that only less than 1% of the estimated volume of consumption of shabu had been seized by authorities. She said the remaining 99% had already been consumed.
Ergo, there are no more illegal drugs in the country. Just like many viruses that have plagued the Philippines, shabu has been totally eradicated.
CAMP CRAME, Quezon City (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – There has been a lot of speculation about the so-called “list” that Leila de Lima has prepared to submit to the U.S. State Department which is in charge of identifying Filipinos who shall be banned from entering the U.S. for their role in the “wrongful detention” of the lady Senator.
The “ban” is supposedly included in the 2020 Appropriations Measures that President Donald Trump recently signed.
The Adobo Chronicles was able to obtain a leaked copy of De Lima’s list and we’re sharing this with our readers.
