The Adobo Chronicles’ De Lima Scarf Survey

image

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) –Everybody knows about Imelda Marcos’ collection of 3,000 pairs of shoes (the number of course is debatable), but the spotlight has now turned to Senator Leila De Lima’s neck scarves.  How many exactly does she have? She is seldom seen repeating the same scarf in her public appearances.

Well, to put the speculation to rest, The Adobo Chronicles is conducting an online contest to determine how many scarves De Lima has in her (designer?) collection.

Participate in the survey below.

Netizens who correctly guess the number will be entered into a grand raffle for the chance to win a one-year complimentary subscription to The Adobo Chronicles.

NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – With exactly 77 days before the U.S. presidential elections, Republican candidate Donald Trump’s campaign rhetoric is becoming crazier by the day.

He has gone from a campaign theme of ‘Make America Great Again’ to ‘Make America Safe Again.’

Enter the Hillary Clinton campaign, jumping on the opportunity to distinguish the Democratic candidate from Trump.

Clinton has just shelved her latest campaign meme of  “We’re Stronger Together” to a new theme directly aimed at Trump’s crazy rhetoric.  Her new theme is: “Make America Sane Again. Vote Clinton.”

Obviously, the Trump campaign is going crazy over Clinton’s new meme.

President Duterte, left, and his predecessor, Aquino

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Former Philippine President NoyNoy Aquino goes down in history as the first ever human being who is going into hibernation.  Previously, only certian animals hibernate, including bears, bats, skunks, bees, snakes and groundhogs.

In an interview with Radyo Inquirer, Aquino said that he would refrain from giving comments about the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte for a year—a period which he deemed as a reasonable time for his successor to adjust in his job. He reiterated his promise of not giving unsolicited advice to Duterte for the meantime.

When contacted by The Adobo Chronicles, Aquino however said that he has no control over his sister Kris, who might on her own, give unsolicited advice to Duterte.
