MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – When it comes to the Legislature, there’s the majority and there’s the minority.
The majority is usually made up of members of the ruling party or a coalition of different party members.
The minority is sometimes made up of fakes. That is if we were to believe in Represenatative Gary Alejano — that same Alejano who, together with Senator Antonio Trillanes, filed a complaint against President Rodrigo Duterte for alleged crimes against humanity before the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Alejano called his fellow minority Congress members ‘fake.’
Well, not exactly. But he called himself — as described in his Twitter account — the “authentic” minority member of the 17th Congress.
So, following Alejano’s logic, all the other minority members are inauthentic.
In other words, fake.
