PCOO Secretary Martin Andanar Receives Prestigious Netizen Award!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles) – Secretary Martin Andanar of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) has been realint awards left and right. And center.

Just days after he received the “Most Effective Communicator” award from the Philippine Cancer Society Inc. (PCSI), Andanar was honored by the National Coalition of Netizen Associations of the Philippines (NCNAP).

The NCNAP award was for “Most Effective Miscommunicator.”

In receiving this latest honor, Andanar thanked the NCNAP for reminding him that there are always two sides to a story, sometimes even three —PCSO’s, Rappler’s and the DDS online warriors.

”Oblivious as I may be to the work that PCOO is or is not doing, I am still humbled by this honor,” he added.

She is hoping to get better response this time around.

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Leni Robredo has not closed the door to a possible run for the Philippine Presidency come 2022, but that’s not what’s buzzing on the Internet right now.

One of Robredo’s three daughters — Tricia — has political ambitions of her own. She wants to be the next Secretary of the Department of Health (DOH)  and this early  she has moved to position herself for this top Cabinet role, when her mom becomes president.

In just just the last few days, Tricia has dipped her finger into two of the most controversial health issues facing the Philippines today —the rise in dengue cases and the re-emergence of measles and polio, and the issue of vaccination against these diseases.

It all came in a tweets Tricia posted online, and her “Tiger mom” Leni couldn’t be more pleased.

Like Mother, like Daughter. Genius, or clueless? We’ll let you decide!
