TRUMP PROPOSES AN ELECTION COMPROMISE

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Acknowledging that he has a 50-50 chance or less of being reelected President of the United States, Donald Trump has put forward a compromise proposal which he describes as a win-win situation for both himself and his Democrat opponent Joe Biden.

Earlier, Trump insinuated that there will not be a peaceful transition if he loses the election.

In his proposal submitted to the Biden camp, the U.S. Congress and the Supreme Court on the eve of the November 3 elections, Trump said that he would agree to a sharing of power between him and Biden.

His idea is for Biden to be President of the blue states while he will be President of the red states, or whichever states each of them will win based on the electoral votes.

Trump says he would leave it up to Congress to come up with the implementing rules and regulations for his proposal and determine where the seat of power will be established for either President.

“I wouldn’t mind vacating The White House and establishing my office in Florida or Texas,” he told the press corps.

Robredo, ovp staff test positive for being nega

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – In a post on her Facebook page, Leni Robredo announced that all her concerned staff at the Office of the Vice President (OVP) tested negative for Covid-19. It is presumed she did, too.

Robredo and staff went into self-quarantine last week after they reportedly came in close contact with someone who tested positive for the coronavirus.

What Robredo didn’t disclose was that she and her staff tested positive for being “nega,” a term widely used to describe Filipinos who display a negative attitude about social, political and other issues that beset the country. Similar to what many know to be “crab mentality.”

Robredo and the OVP are known for their generosity in criticizing every move or policy of the Duterte administration in order to create a semblance of some opposition — something that many describe as a desperate survival technique.

EX-SPEAKER ALAN PETER CAYETANO TO MISS TAGUIG: be a sport!

TAGUIG CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Taguig Bureau) – Former House Speaker and Taguig Representative Alan Peter Cayetano has some great advice for Miss Taguig Sandra Lemonon: Be a sport!

Lemonon trended on social media after she revealed that one of the Miss Universe Philippines contestants (and possibly the winner) used packing tape to enhance her chances of winning the crown.

Cayetano, who was embroiled in a controversy over the term-sharing agreement regarding the House Speakership with Lord Allan Velasco, advised Lemonon to abide by the agreement and MUP rules she signed when she joined the pageant.

Good advice, Mr. Ex-Speaker! You, indeed, speak from valuable personal experience!
