MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – After making a 180-degree turn from throwing hollow blocks to throwing pan de sal at Duterte critics, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque once again made a complete turn-around.
This time, he’s back at threatening to throw hollow blocks — at Rappler’s Maria Ressa.
Roque made the threat after learning of a speech made by Ressa during the Awards Dinner sponsored by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) held in Washington, D.C.
”What total bull,” Roque said. “I am ready to throw the first hollow block at Ressa upon her return from the U.S. for spreading lies and disinformation.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Maria Ressa, CEO of Rappler, has received a Democracy Award from the National Democratic Institute (NDI).
NDI’s Madeleine Albright told The Adobo Chronicles that Ressa was selected for her and Rappler’s help in getting Rodrigo Duterte elected President of the Philippines.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – This is NOT fake news. Maria Ressa really said that Rappler’s coverage of Rodrigo Duterte’s campaign helped get him elected.
She proclaimed this to the entire world at an Awards Dinner sponsored by the National Democratic Institute held in Washington, D.C.
We will leave it to our readers and followers to provide the satire in this story.
