WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Thanks to Donald Trump who just declared that “the U.S. is full,” America has just banned all incoming international flights.
Trump says that outbound international flights will be allowed to leave but incoming flights will asked to immediately turn around.
The new White House directive is part of Trump’s controversial anti-immigration policy.
Travelers flying into the United States are advised to check with their airlines before boarding their flights into the U.S.
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – One big difference between Duterte critics Rappler CEO Maria Ressa and retired entertainer Jim Paredes is that Ressa will not give up her dual citizenship no matter what.
But Paredes is the opposite. He told The Adobo Chronicles he is happy to let go of one of his citizenships if only to show the world that he is truly sorry about that viral sex video which has brought shame and scandal to both his (dual) citizenships.
”Today, I am announcing that I will voluntarily renounce my senior citizenship in order to protect the dignity and reputation of my country’s senior citizens,” Paredes, 67, said.
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – It is no secret that U.S. President Donald Trump has a beef with Mexicans, evident not only by his passion to build a border wall, but also with his policy of denying U.S. travel visas for Mexican nationals.
Alas, a computer glitch at the U.S. Embassy in Manila now automatically denies visa applications from Filipinos who hail from or reside in Mexico, a town in the Philippine province of Pampanga.
It is already difficult for most Filipinos to obtain a visa to visit America, but having one’s address or hometown listed as Mexico, Pampanga makes it almost impossible to get one.
The U.S. Embassy in Manila is still trying to correct the glitch that automatically deletes all visa applications bearing the key word “Mexico.”
