SALES OF SAN MIGUEL BEER ON THE RISE, THANKS TO PHILIPPINE SENATOR GRACE POE

2ac1b0007c47d872b3298cf2c02e2926MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – She has not yet declared her candidacy for president of the Philippines, but already, Senator Grace Poe is on the receiving end of bad rap from her nervous political opponents.

In recent months, Poe has consistently ranked number one in the polls on candidates and potential candidates for the 2016 presidential elections, displacing Vice President Jejomar Binay from the top spot.  Only  Binay and Interior and Local Governments Secretary Mar Roxas have officially declared their candidacy so far.

Poe’s enemies have accused her of being a batterer, drug addict and alcoholic, all of which the daughter of the late movie actor and former presidential candidate Fernando Poe, Jr.  categorically denied.

In speaking with reporters yesterday, Poe said that she does drink white wine or San Miguel beer at parties and receptions, but that doesn’t make her an alcoholic.sanmig

Since Poe clarified the allegations of alcoholism, the sales of San Miguel beer, the Philippines’ premier bottled brew, has tripled. No other celebrity endorsement of the beer has ever resulted in increased demand and sales.

We could not reach Poe to clarify whether her drink of choice was regular San Miguel beer (Pale Pilsen) or San Mig Light.

ELECTIONGATE: DONALD TRUMP’S PRESIDENTIAL BID IS A DEMOCRATIC PARTY PLOY

imageWASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – It is a scandal worse than Watergate or Irangate. It’s called Electiongate. (And these scandals always happen in Washington, D.C., go figure!).

Today, The Washington Post  confirmed that former President Bill Clinton had a meeting with Donald Trump just before the real estate mogul announced his bid to become the next president of the United States.

In that meeting, Clinton reportedly encouraged Trump to assume a bigger role in the Republican Party.  And he did, by announcing his quest to be the GOP’s nominee for president in the 2016 elections.

The rest is history, with Trump now leading in the polls and maintaining his solid frontrunner status going into Thursday’s Republican presidential debate on FOX News.

But political analysts always knew that Trump, a former Democrat, had a special bond with the Clintons.  He had, in fact, made huge contributions to the Clinton campaigns and to Bill and Hillary’s global foundation.

So, with the Post‘s exposé, it can now be told that Trump’s candidacy is actually a Democratic Party ploy to ensure that Hillary Clinton will become the next president of the United States. Both Trump and the Clintons know that the former can never be elected president and that if he, indeed, becomes the GOP nominee, Hillary is assured of winning all the electoral votes in the 50 states.

And that, exactly, is the plan all along.  This thing called Electiongate.

Now we know why Trump has been making all sorts of stupid, racist and ridiculous comments in the campaign trail.

It remains to be seen whether ‘Electiongate’ will be brought up by the FOX News moderators in Thursday’s debate.

ONE NAVY SHIP DONATED BY AUSTRALIA TO THE PHILIPPINES IS MISSING!

CaptureZAMBOANGA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – One of the naval ships donated by the Australian government to the Philippines has been reported missing.

The Philippine Star is reporting that two Australian naval ships  have reached the country’s territorial waters.

The two landing craft heavy (LCH) ships are now sailing the waters of Zamboanga  and are expected to reach Sangley Point in Cavite on Friday, according to Navy chief Vice Adm. Jesus Millan.

Australia announced its plan to donate the LCH transport ships to the Philippines last January. The ships were transferred to the Philippine Navy after being refurbished with new safety and navigation equipment.

The vessels were decommissioned from Australian service at a ceremony in Cairns on November 19, 2014. They were commissioned by the Philippine Navy on July 23, 2015.

However, the Philippine Star report showed a photo of three, not two, naval ships.  So there is speculation that the third ship may have been lost at sea or diverted to another country.

The Philippine Navy has not returned our calls for comment.
