Filipino Man Arrested For Eating Jollibee Chicken Joy For Free For One Year!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Who is the copycat? The South African man or the Filipino man?

A South African man was recently arrested for eating KFC fried chicken for a whole year, under the guise of being sent by KFC headquarters to check on the quality of food served by a local franchise store.

Reports have it that a Filipino man has been having free chicken joy at a neighborhood Jollibee restaurant in Quezon City for almost a year now, telling employees that he was a Rappler food critic monitoring quality changes in fast food chains’ daily menu servings.

He was reported to the Philippine National Police today after he suspiciously changed his usual order from chicken joy to burger steak.

Moral of the story. Stick to your usual order when eating at Jollibee.

Bishop Villegas Criticizes Mar Roxas!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Former Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) president Socrates Villegas, in what appears to be a defense of drag queen Pura Luka Vega’s viral video “mocking” Jesus Christ and The Lord’s Prayer, lay blame on former presidential candidate Mar Roxas.

In a statement, Villegas said that the “seeds for this scandalous video were already planted when we (Filipinos) allowed vulgarity by high leaders in government…”

The Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan was apparently referring to this video of Roxas:

Roxas cursing

Finally, An Apology To The Filipino People From Maria Ressa!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – After years of holding the line and lying to the world about the status of Democracy and Press Freedom in the Philippines, Nobel Laureate and Rappler CEO Maria Ressa has finally apologized to the Filipino people.

Or, at least, we asked AI to craft a letter of apology should the convicted libeler decide to do so. Will such a letter pierce the hearts of the Supreme Court justices in whose hands lie Ressa’s freedom or incarceration resulting from her conviction by the lower courts?
