MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Earlier, The Adobo Chronicles reported that President Bongbong Marcos is considering the appointment of former President Rodrigo Duterte and ex-Vice President Leni Robredo to his Cabinet.
Duterte was being groomed to be the head of NTF-ELCAC while Robredo has been asked to join as head of the Presidential Security Group, a new Cabinet position that involves the security and protection of the First Family as well as former Presidents and Vice Presidents and their families.
Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin tells The Adobo Chronicles that Robredo has immediately accepted the appointment without second thoughts.
Robredo says it is an honor to be part of the Marcos administration under the President’s campaign promise of unity.
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Now that the one-year ban on the appointment to government positions of losing candidates in the 2022 Philippine elections is over, expect a flurry of new Cabinet appointments under the administration of President Bongbong Marcos.
But two particular pending appointments are getting much attention.
Former President Rodrigo Duterte and ex-Vice President Leni Robredo are being groomed to Cabinet-level positions.
Reliable sources tell The Adobo Chronicles that Duterte will head the NTF-ELCAC while Robredo will be the new boss of the Presidential Security Group (PSG). Both positions will be elevated to Cabinet status.
