MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – In one, hard-hitting analysis by a certain JC Punongbayan, Rappler accused Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte of establishing a Panda Ring — you know, pandas —  those lovable, furry, black and white animals found only  in China (and some lucky zoos).

Punongbayan was commenting on the 29 agreements signed by Duterte and Chinese President Xi Jinping during the latter’s state visit to the Philippines. He called the Philippine President’s move “excessive.”

But let’s think positive.

This could mean that the Manila and other zoos across the country will soon be hosts to Chinese pandas.
