QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – In anticipation of a possible negative outcome of the ongoing 2016 Vice Presidential Elections ballot recount, Leni Robredo has instructed her staff to put up an ad on Airbnb to rent out her current mansion office in Quezon City.
”The Vice President wants to be proactive,” spokesperson Georgina Hernandez told The Adobo Chronicles.
A check with Airbnb listings showed the rental offering but the amount and terms of the long-term rental were not disclosed.
Interested renters are advised to contact the Office of the Vice President directly.
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The Banko Sentral Ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Philippines) has issued a warning to the Filipino public regarding a fake VP currency circulating on the Internet.
In a statement issued today, BSP categorically said that there are only six legitimate paper currencies now in circulation: P20, P50, P100, P200, P500 and P1000.
’The fake VP currency of P10,000 is not sanctioned by the bank,” a spokesperson said.
The fake bill features a photo of VP Leni Robredo saluting the Philippine flag.
Citizens are asked to immediately report to authorities should they encounter the fake VP.
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – It’s been viewed many times over the Internet — this powerful photo of Filipino nuns praying over Vice President Leni Robredo in front of the official VP seal.
But apparently what netizens saw was a cropped version of the photograph.
The Adobo Chronicles obtained a copy of the original photo and we were shocked to see that the nuns were actually not praying over the Vice President.
Rather, Leni and the sisters were paying tribute to a framed photo of Adolf Hitler.
