imageDALLAS, Texas (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – American Airlines (AA) accidently sent the wrong plane across the ocean from Los Angeles to Hawaii, a company spokesman confirmed to AFP Sunday.

In the August 31 incident first reported by transportation blogger Brian Sumers, the plane made it safely to Honolulu despite the error.

American Airlines spokesman Casey Norton said they were still looking into how the mix-up happened.

It appears that AA flight crew assigned to the flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu boarded the wrong plane. The pilots realized the error two hours into the flight while over the Pacific Ocean but decided to continue on to Hawaii.

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – Federal agents and bomb-sniffing dogs were dispatched to the office of Dr. Ben Carson in Alexandria, Virginia, shortly after the Republican candidate for president received a suspicious mail package.

The package consisted of a Manila envelope that seemed to contain a small metal device. Carson’s staff suspected the device to be an explosive.

The package was taken to a nearby football field to be destroyed.

Well, it turns out that the package came from the office of California Governor Jerry Brown. image

Brown confirmed that he sent the package consisting of a letter to Carson, along with a flash drive containing reports and information on climate change.

Carson was in California recently where he made statements denying that climate change was man-made.

No charges will be filed against the governor, since no one was injured. Brown, however volunteered to reimburse the Federal government for the cost of sending the agents and dogs to Carson’s office.

All’s well that ends well.

BREAKING: DONALD TRUMP PICKS KANYE WEST TO BE HIS VP RUNNING MATE

imageNEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – For the first time since announcing he was running for president of the United States, Donald Trump went on national television to answer specific questions ranging from creating jobs and the middle class to foreign policy and illegal immigration.

It happened on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

But the biggest news from the interview with the late night talk show host was Trump’s announcement that he has made his decision on who his vice presidential running mate would be: rapper Kanye West.

West’s political ambitions are not secret.  At the recent MTV Video Music Awards, he declared he was running for president in 2020.

In naming West, Trump said that being vice president would be a great way for West to prepare for future presidency.

Asked whether he would be willing to be a one-term president to give way for West to run in 2020, Trump said that he was hugely confident that he can solve all of the country’s problems in four years and there would be no need for a second term.

“By then, I would have trained West as my top apprentice and future president,” Trump told Fallon.
