DICK CHENEY SAYS HE WAS MISQUOTED ABOUT PRESIDENT OBAMA

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles) – Former Vice President Dick Cheney took another swipe at President Barack Obama on Tuesday, criticizing him over the Iran deal framework put in place last week.

Cheney, who accused Iran of having “one of the most radical regimes in history” and being “sworn to destroy Israel,” told radio host Hugh Hewitt the deal will be a “burden” on the next occupant of the White House. “This is a totally radical regime that is the premiere sponsor of state terrorism in the world, and Obama’s about to give them nuclear weapons,” Cheney said. “I can’t think of a more terrible burden to leave the next president than what Obama is creating here.”

There is a big problem, though. Cheney told The Adobo Chronicles that he was misquoted by Hewitt and subsequently, by FOX News, saying that as far as he can remember of the radio interview, he said “George W.” not “Obama.”

Meanwhile, the next occupant of the White House, Hillary Clinton said, “It’s not going to be burden at all!”

All things cleared.

FIRST HISPANIC U.S. PRESIDENT?

Will a Hispanic succeed the first U.S. black president come 2016?

The next presidential elections is shaping up to be a contest between a woman and a minority candidate.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, a likely Republican presidential candidate in 2016, self-identified as Hispanic in a 2009 voter-registration application, The New York Times reports, citing the application it obtained from the Miami-Dade County Elections Department.

Hispanics in the U.S. are fast becoming a powerful voting block and could, in all likelihood, determine the outcome of the next presidential elections.

The lone declared Republican presidential candidate thus far, Senator Ted Cruz, although born in Canada, is also claiming Hispanic roots. There is no denying his claim, what with a surname like that!

PRESENTING THE REPUBLICAN LINE-UP FOR THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles) – Contrary to speculation that the Republican Party has no clear frontrunner in the nomination for president in the 2016 elections, the Grand Old Party (GOP) today unveiled its list of ‘presidentiables,’ any one of whom could be the next president of the United States.

“It’s a crowded field, but they are all frontrunners and equally qualified to be president,” said Reince Priebus, Chairman of the Republican National Committee.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party continues to maintain that it has only one clear frontrunner (lone-up) for the 2016 presidential nomination – Barack Obama, with Hillary Clinton a distant second, and Elizabeth Warren, a distant third.
