DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY UNVEILS NEW U.S. CITIZENSHIP TEST QUESTION

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles) – The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) of the Department of Homeland Security has just released the revised test questionnaire for immigrants applying for U.S. citizenship.

It  is a far cry from the 100 potential questions that an immigration officer might ask a citizenship applicant.  There would only be one question, which is: ‘Name all the candidates for U.S. president in the 2016 elections.’ The citizenship applicant must correctly name all the candidates in this photo (as more candidates declare, their photos will be added to the citizenship test): image The single question replaces the 10 questions (from the list of 100) that the immigration officer could ask applicants during the naturalization interview.

Previously, in order to pass the civics text, the applicant must correctly answer 6 of the 10 questions. Now, its all all nothing.  Failure to identify ALL presidential candidates would mean a denial of the citizenship application.

Talk about streamlining the citizenship process.

DONALD TRUMP TO TREVOR NOAH: ‘SHOW ME YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE’

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (The Adobo Chronicles) – Real estate mogul Donald Trump just can’t let go of his birther rants, and he seems to be getting more and more desperate about his misplaced crusade.

Trump led the charge on the view that Barack Obama wasn’t born in the United States, and questioned the authenticity of the president’s publicly-released copy of his Hawaii birth certificate.

On the same day that Ted Cruz (R-TX) announced that he was running for president, Trump suggested that the Republican senator may not be eligible to become president because he was born in Canada. Cruz , of course, has maintained that he is eligible to be president since he was born to an American mother, despite having been born in Calgary, Alberta. He was a dual citizen until 2014 when he renounced his Canadian citizenship.

Today, Trump launched his latest birther attack against Trevor Noah who, just this week, was named successor to Jon Stewart who would be stepping down as host of the satirical ‘The Daily Show’ sometime this year.

“I need you to show your birth certificate,’ Trump challenged Noah, ‘to prove that you are truly African American.’

Apparently, Trump missed that part of Comedy Central’s announcement and the subsequent media coverage of Noah’s appointment, stating that the biracial comedian is, in fact, from South Africa, born to a South African mom and a German dad.

When informed about Noah’s non-U.S. citizenship, Trump immediately turned his attention back to Miss Japan, Ariana Miyamoto, a half-Japanese and half-African American who will represent her country in the next Miss Universe Beauty Pageant which he owns.

Earlier, Trump had announced that he would disqualify Miss Japan from competing in Miss Universe because of her biracial status.

TED CRUZ TO DONALD TRUMP: ‘I WAS BORN IN NORTH AMERICA, SO I’M AMERICAN!’

WASHINGTON, D.C.(The Adobo Chronicles) – It’s Déjà vu! The man who challenged Barack Obama’s citizenship is now questioning whether Republican Senator Ted Cruz is qualified to run for president.

The junior senator from Texas announced today that he was seeking the Republican nomination for president in the 2016 elections — the first major candidate to do so.

Business mogul Donald Trump, who makes no secret about his intention to run for president in 2016, said today that Cruz, who was born in Canada, is not eligible to run for president because he wasn’t born in the United States.

“I don’t even need to see his birth certificate,” Trump said, ” since he has admitted that he was born in Canada.”

Responding to Trump’s pronouncement, Cruz countered by saying, “Mr. Trump must not know his geography.  Yes, I was born in Canada which is in North America.  Ergo, I am American and very well qualified to run for U.S. president.”

“On the other hand,” the Texas senator said, “I haven’t seen Mr. Trump’s birth certificate. He doesn’t look American to me. I think he’s been dyeing his weird hair blonde, and wearing colored contacts to look American.”

“Don’t show me your money; show me your birth certificate,” Cruz challenged Trump.
