Both women grabbed last week’s news headlines: one being exonerated of drug-related criminal charges brought against her by the administration of Rodrigo Duterte, the other resigning her Cabinet post as DepEd Secretary of the Bongbong Marcos Administration.

The Adobo Chronicles conducted a random, unofficial straw poll on which lady politician Filipinos would vote for if the choice for president in the 2028 elections boils down to Leila de Lima or Sara Duterte.

Loud and clear, poll voters overwhelmingly chose de Lima, 63% to 37%.

Interestingly enough, both are being touted as the leader of the political opposition!
