Even Philippine President Duterte Says Trump Should Drop Out

imageMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – A growing number of Republican leaders have disavowed Donald Trump following the surfacing of an audio tape in which he bragged about kissing and groping women.  Former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice is among the latest GOP stalwarts to call for the Republican presidential candidate to drop out of the race.

Today, even the foul-mouthed, cussing and controversial Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte said Trump should quit the race.

Duterte has often been called by the media the “Donald Trump of the Philippines,” while others have referred to Trump as the “Duterte of the United States.”

In recent weeks, Duterte has gained the ire of America because of his rhetoric against President Obama.

Now it seems Americans are starting to love Duterte for calling out Trump!

MINNEAPOLIS, Minesotta (The Adobo Chronicles, San Francisco Bureau) – Former Minesotta Representative Michele Bachmann is not at all bothered by Donald Trump’s comments about kissing and groping women.  It’s just ‘bad boy talk,’ she told Chris Matthews on MSNBC.

“In fact, I myself always carry a pack of tic tacs in my bag,” she said, referring to Trump’s comment about having a tic tax in his mouth before kissing women.

It  appears Ms. Bachmann is always ready in case she encounters Trump.

We wonder is she’s also ready to let her pet pussy cat out the next time she sees the Donald.

BREAKING: Second U.S. Presidential Debate Rescheduled For Midnight

IMG_6229.JPGWASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – The Commission on Presidential Debates has announced a change of schedule for the second debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.  It was originally scheduled at 9 p.m. Eastern on Sunday night.

The debate in St. Louis, Missouri, will last 90 minutes and be conducted in a “town hall” format featuring questions from undecided voters, moderated by CNN’s Anderson Cooper and ABC’s Martha Raddatz.

The commission told The Adobo Chronicles that the debate will be moved out of prime time and rescheduled for midnight the same day.

The decision by the commission came after the explosive audio tape of Trump surfaced in which he bragged to TV host Billy Bush about kissing and groping women.  In that audio tape, Trump actually mentioned the word “p*ssy.”

Because the presidential debates are supposed to be rated G (for general audiences), the commission saw it fit to move it to midnight.  It said that the Trump audio is sure to be brought up by Clinton and it would be unwise to allow minors to be listening to an exchange where “p*ssy” would constantly be mentioned.

The commission advised parents to make sure that their children who are not yet of legal age be put to bed before the start of the midnight debate.
