MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau)- Forget about fake news. You should be more concerned about real, legitimate news.  Which begs the question, which “real” news  should you believe?

The beacon, the light, the bearer of truth, the watchdog of government — otherwise known as the news media — is in shambles in the Philippines.

If you’re not paying attention, you might think that you’re dealing with political parties, listening to or reading their ideological propaganda.

Where before it was a battle of bloggers, i.e., Mocha Uson vs. Raissa Robles, it is now a war between what we know as legitimate media.  They battle for your attention, and cater to your political leaning.  How? Through their headlines.

So fear not. Any news story — and we mean ANY news story — can be good news for you.  Just pick the headline you wish to believe.  You don’t have to read the full story.  What for? The headlines tell it all.
