Maria Ressa Sends Peace Feelers To Malacañang!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) –She and her Rapplerettes had a template description of Bongbong Marcos before, during and after the 2022 presidential elections in which the son of the late Ferdinand E. Marcos won by an unprecedented landslide over his closest rival, Leni Robredo. They made sure Marcos’ name came with the tag, “son of a dictator.”

Ressa herself predicted that a Marcos victory will spur more disinformation and attributed his popularity to disinformation campaigns.

Never mind that Rappler led in the well-oiled media campaign to discredit the then presidential candidate in the hopes that Filipino voters will buy into their lies.

Now, Ressa seems to have performed a 180-degree turn, as flawless as Catriona Gray’s and other Filipina beauty queens.

She is now admitting that “things are better in the Philippines” compared to the previous administration, and that Marcos’ success will also be her success.

Why the sudden change of heart?

Is she positioning herself for a possible presidential pardon if and when the Supreme Court affirms her cyber libel conviction?

Is she finally realizing a future behind bars?

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Nobel Laureate and convicted CEO of Rappler Maria Ressa who once described the Philippines as the worst war zone she’s ever been in, is having a change of heart!

Asked if things are better in the Philippines under the administration of President Bongbong Marcos, her response was a resounding “Yes.”

Ressa’s road to international recognition and eventually the Nobel Peace Prize was premised on her accusations of the curtailment of her free speech, the death of Democracy and the Philippines being a war zone. She even wrote a book on how to stand up to a dictator (Rodrigo Duterte).
