MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Many elected officials have come under fire for alleged fake academic credentials, portraying themselves as having graduated from prestigious universities abroad.
But for Kabataan Party-list Representative Sarah Elago, her credential of having earned a Master’s Degree has been confirmed, thanks to the testimonial of Major General Antonio Parlade, Jr. of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed conflict (NTF ELCAC).
“ Elago and other leaders of militant groups have surely mastered the art of deception,” says Parlade. He made this statement in response to Elago’s claims that she is not an NPA member.
