Sharon Cuneta’s 817-Word Social Media Rant

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – “Megastar” and wife of presidential candidate Senator Kiko Pangilinan Sharon Cuneta took to social media to justify her earlier post criticizing presidential aspirant Salvador Panelo for singing what is not even ”her song” at a campaign event.

The song was ”Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas.” composed by the late Willy Cruz and first recorded by Jun Polistico. Sharon’s version was practically a cover of the original recording.

Cuneta acknowledged that she didn’t know Panelo sang the song as a tribute to his late son who suffered from Down Syndrome.

But Cuneta’s rant went on and on, totaling 813 words, more than the average word count of most essays, press releases and opinion pieces (OpEds).

In the final analysis, Cuneta could have posted a one sentence rant: ”I made a mistake.”

BBM-Sara UniTeam Cavite Grand Rally Captured By International Space Station!

INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION (The Adobo Chronicles, Miami Bureau) – The camp of Vice President and presidential aspirant Leni Robredo may have pink-colored drone shots and aerial photos of their concerts to show for huge crowds, but nothing beats the telescopic photo of the recent BBM-Sara UniTeam grand rally in Cavite.

This photo was beamed to earth by the International Space Station showing the huge crowd that attended the UniTeam’s rally in General Trias City in the vote-rich province of Cavite. It is the penultimate crowd shot never before seen anywhere in the world!

Partido Reporma Endorses Leni Robredo As Its Second Choice!

DAVAO CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Davao Bureau) – Today’s big news is not so much that Partido Reporma dropped Senator Panfilo Lacson as its presidential bet. It is the fact that it chose Vice President Leni Robredo as its SECOND CHOICE!

In making the announcement, former Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez extolled the party’s first choice Lacson before mentioning that it has decided to endorse Robredo as its second choice.

While Alvarez was reading the party’s statement, Robredo was all smiles, happily accepting the endorsement and the reality that she is No. 2 and the second choice in many of her endeavors.

The VP is a distant second in practically all polls for the presidential contest, including the 7-Eleven SpeakCup campaign.

No. 2 seems to be Robredo’s favorite, and lucky number, including being the country’s 2nd woman VP, passing the bar exams on her 2nd try, and who knows what other personal circumstances she finds herself in.
