DNA RESULTS ARE IN: PHILIPPINE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE GRACE POE IS MARTIAN!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles®) – Like the stale accusation from Donald Trump and others that U.S. President Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen despite evidence to the contrary, questions continue to persist aimed at the disqualification of Senator Grace Poe from becoming president of the Philippines.

Poe, who continues to top the polls ahead of her two declared rivals — Vice President Jejomar Binay and Aquino administration bet Mar Roxas — is an adopted daughter of the late actor and presidential candidate Fernando Poe, Jr. and actress Susan Roces.  She was found abandoned in a church in Central Philippines.

Many have questioned whether the popular senator is a natural-born Filipino, which is a requirement to run for president.

To put all speculation to rest, Poe had agreed to undergo DNA testing, along with relatives thought to be her biological parents.

Today, the DNA tests came back.  They were negative. There was no match.

Further testing uncovered the ultimate truth:  Poe is from Mars.

Perhaps her biological father is Matt Damon, currently starring in a new Hollywood movie, “The Martian?”

VICE PRESIDENT BINAY PROPOSES ONE-CHILD POLICY FOR PHILIPPINES

imageMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles®)  – Philippine Vice President Jejomar Binay who, according to the latest polls, has slipped to third place among the three declared presidential candidates — behind the Aquino Administration’s bet Mar Roxas and Senator Grace Poe who remains in first place — has proposed a major shift in Philippine policy.

Diverting his campaign strategy away from personal attacks and more on issues important to the Filipino people, Binay today unveiled his bold proposal to address the problem of overpopulation and poverty in this nation of 100 Million people.

Speaking to reporters at an impromptu press conference at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City, Binay said that if elected president, he will propose and implement a one-child policy for the Philippines, similar to that put in place by China in 1978.

China’s policy is aimed at alleviating social, economic and environmental problems in this country of over a billion people.

Binay, a devout Catholic, is confident that the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) will support his plan, as long as it doesn’t involve any means of artificial birth control.

In  justifying his proposal, Binay cited the fact the U.S. State of California is bigger in land size than the entire Philippines, and yet the Filipino population is  almost three times that of California (see illustration).

The vice president is proposing a fine of one hundred thousand pesos or a prison term of one year for both parents who would violate the one-child policy. Unmarried parents would pay double the fine  or would suffer a two-year prison term.

“It’s about time we solved the problem of overpopulation in our country once and for all,” Binay said.

REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES DROP OUT EN MASSE, LEAVING DONALD TRUMP AND CARLY FIORINA

150916234322-03-trump-fiorina-split-debate-0916-exlarge-169WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles®) – Apparently, it is not only Scott Walker who is dropping out of the Republican presidential race; all 34 of the remaining 36 declared candidates are quitting, en masse.

The first to drop out from the contest last month was Rick Perry, followed by an announcement today that Walker is also stepping down.

But after the continued surge in the polls by frontrunner Donald Trump and the impressive showing by Carly Fiorina in last week’s CNN debate, all the others are throwing in the towel.

Between Trump and Fiorina, the Republicans are confident that their standard bearer in the general elections will have a good shot at The White House, either against Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton.

The GOP says that the ideal match would be between Trump and Sanders, because of common hair-raising issues; or between Fiorina and Clinton who are both women.

So now, the focus has shifted to the Democratic race.
