Dumping Ground For ‘Desaparecidos’ Uncovered In The U.S.!

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – In the Philippines, “salvaged” is synonymous with extra-judicial killing. In many cases, the bodies of the murder victims are never found.

The word is equivalent to ‘desaparecidos’ in the Americas — people who have disappeared, presumed killed by members of the armed services or the police.

For the longest time — in the land of the free and home of the brave — it has been thought that there are no desaparecidos in America.

But lo and behold, a dumping ground for desaparecidos has been uncovered just miles from the U.S. capital.

An investigative photojournalist took this photo of a citizen disposal facility in Fairfax, Virginia.

U.S. authorities have been tight-lipped about this shocking discovery.

Many are asking, however, if undocumented immigrants (non citizens) are banned from this facility

This is a developing story.

DOJ Modernization Program: AI To Replace Lie-Detector Tests

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau)- The Philippines’ Department of Justice has embarked on a modernization program that will make crime investigation world-class.

Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla told The Adobo Chronicles that his department will do away with all lie-detector tests in favor of AI (Artificial Intelligence).

The move came after news that AI has made non-invasive mind-reading possible by converting thoughts into text, according to a recent study published in the journal Nature Neuroscience. The innovation involves an AI-based decoder that translates brain activity into a continuous stream of text with high accuracy. The system works by mapping patterns of neuronal activity to strings of words with particular meanings, rather than attempting to read out activity word by word.

Remulla is confident that DOJ’s adoption of modern technology will significantly reduce the backlog of criminal investigations and cases and will put the meme, “Justice delayed is justice denied” to shame.

Philippines Bans Importation Of Chinese-Made Suction Climbing Apparatus!

A member of the SWAT unit uses a climbing device to climb a high-rise building.

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The Philippines’ Bureau of Customs, upon recommendation of the Philippine National Police, has banned the importation of a Chinese-made suction climbing apparatus.

The new device was recently unveiled at the 11th China International Police Equipment Exhibition. The demonstration was done by a member of the Chinese SWAT team.

The principle of operation is based on the use of negative pressure when air is sucked in by suction cups and then attached to the wall.

Customs Chief Bienvenido Y. Rubio told Adobo Chronicles’ chief geopolitics reporter Brian Neyra that the Philippine government is afraid that the climbing equipment could be used by members of Akyat Bahay syndicates to perpetuate their criminal activities.

Akyat Bahay refers to the modus operandi of criminals to climb and enter private residences to steal valuables and property.

“With the climbing device, not even high-rise condominiums which abound in the country will not be spared from thieves,” Rubio said.

Moral of the story: Spider-man is not welcome in the Philippines!
