Thousands Of Californias Petition Governor To Ease Covid Restrictions

SACRAMENTO, California (The Adobo Chronicles, Sacramento Bureau) Tens of thousands of Californians have petitioned Governor Gavin Newsom to ease the state’s Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.

To curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus, Newsom put in place what amounts to a temporary strict lockdown, restricting movement and activities by citizens.

One of the restrictions is a stay home order that among other things, prohibits people from holding gatherings or dinners with non household members.

Newsom however clarified that Californians can still host small dinners or gatherings of up to a maximum of 8 people without any issue.

The petitioners argued that they don’t know 8 people without issues. “Almost everyone comes with some baggage,” they said.

FBI Asks Public’s Help To identify broom insurrectionists

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Several arrests have already been made in connection with last week’s siege on the U.S. Capitol, including the men who were photographed sitting on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s chair and carrying the House lectern. But the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is continuing to pursue leads to bring more insurrectionists to justice.

FBI is now asking the help of the American public to help identify and locate two other major persons of interest, both of whom were photographed with a broom during the Capitol attack.

Anyone with information on these suspects should be reported to the FBI immediately.

Fear Grips Filipinos In U.S. As Federal AGents Look For Protestor With Broom

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Now that the U.S. Capitol protester photographed sitting in Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s chair has been arrested and charged, Federal agents are now focusing their search on the man with the Philippine-style soft broom (see photo.)

The Adobo Chronicles has learned that many Filipinos living in the U.S. are now living in fear because their homes and apartments could be the subject of the nation-wide manhunt (or womanhunt).

The soft broom held by the protester in the photograph matches brooms (walis tambo in the Filipino dialect) that most, if not all, Filipinos keep in their households. It is an essential cleaning item that is unique to the Philippines and is in stark contrast to the nylon brooms most Americans have.

There are even reports that many Filipinos are now discarding their walis tambo for fear that they may be mistaken to be that protester.

Well, there’s always the walis tingting (bamboo broom, broomstick) that’s also popular among Filipinos.
