Donald Trump Makes It To 3 Guinness World Records!

ATLANTA, Georgia (The Adobo Chronicles, Atlanta Bureau) – Former U.S. President Donald Trump has surrendered  to authorities in the state of Georgia, where he faces criminal charges related to efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential elections.

The entire booking process took just about 20 minutes at the Fulton County jail, where he was processed and released on bond. Jail records showed him at 6 foot 3 inches tall and weighing 215 pounds, with blue eyes and blond or strawberry hair. His booking number was P01135809.

A mug shot of Trump was released soon after he left the jail.

With this surrender, Tump made it to the Guinness World Records on three counts:

  1. As the first U.S. president whose mug shot was taken
  2. Posing in a well-ironed suit for his mug shot, and
  3. As the first U.S. president to have lost 30 pounds after leaving The White House.

Ayungin Shoal Eyed As PDL Barrio!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Just hours after Bureau of Corrections Chief Gregorio Catapang Jr. said he is seeking to create a barrio where persons deprived of liberty (PDL) will be allowed to live with their families while serving their sentence, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) offered the Ayungin Shoal in the disputed South China Sea territory as the most appropriate site for said barrio.

PCG said Ayungin Shoal is ideal for the plan since PDLs will have no means to escape while at the same time sending a message to China that the island belongs to the Philippines.

Family members of PDLs will also have the opportunity to fish for their food to complement supply shipment from the Philippine government.

Is this shooting two birds with one bullet on the part of the Philippines?

Miss Universe Philippines Protests Inclusion of Miss Netherlands In International Beauty Pageant!

MANILA, Philippines (Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) Organization has filed a protest against the inclusion of Miss Netherlands in this year’s Miss Universe Pageant.

Rikkie Valerie Kollé has been named Miss Netherlands 2023, becoming the first transgender woman to take the title.

But she will not be the first openly transgender contestant in Miss Universe. Angela Ponce became the pageant’s first out trans contestant when she represented Spain in 2018.

This year’s Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee has come out publicly as bisexual, but MUP told The Adobo Chronicles that she is still a biological woman unlike Kollé and Ponce.

MUP is also invoking FOI (Freedom of Information) to demand that the Miss Universe Organization disclose all 2023 Miss Universe contestants’ gender status.
