OVER OR UNDER: FINALLY, AN END TO THE BATHROOM TISSUE DEBATE

imageSAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles) – It is a never-ending debate that has resulted in family feuds, lost friendships and even violent confrontatons. Is it ‘over’ or ‘under?’

We are, of course referring to the great debate whether bathroom tissue should dangle from the holder forward or backward, whether the loose end of the tissue should be in front or in the back.

In order to put an end to this debate, The Adobo Chronicles surveyed our viewers and followers to give us their opinion on the correct way to dangle bathroom tissue. We received millions of responses and our tabulation seems to be almost equal.

Until we received this one response from our viewer in Baguio City, Philippines. It is neither here nor there. All the responses we got were correct, depending on particular circumstances.

OVER: If your bathroom tissue has a printed or floral design.

UNDER: If you have a house cat.

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles) –  Filipinos love their beauty queens, second only to their champion boxers.

Philippines President NoyNoy Aquino seems to have found the perfect strategy to recover from his sagging popularity and regain the love of  his countrymen: by dating a beauty queen.

While  Aquino has not confirmed the rumored romance with newly-crowned Miss Philippines- Universe Pia Wurtzbach, his sister, TV host Kris opened her big mouth yet again on live television and asked the beauty queen if she was dating her brother, the president.

A week before the Miss Philippines coronation night last Sunday, rumors surfaced that Wurtzbach and Aquino were spotted having dinner together at a Quezon City restaurant.

During a live interview on Aquino & Abunda Tonight, Wurtzbach admitted to Kris that she and Aquino have communication and described him as “very fun to talk to.” (Was that a ‘no, we’re not dating?’)

Kris then asked Wurtzbach to ” make her brother happy  because he needs it,”  and promised to be a good sister-in-law to Pia.

President Aquino goes on record as the only bachelor sitting president of the Philippines, but his sister might just spoil that record by  trying to ‘pimp’ her brother.

President Aquino has made headlines time and again for his love life, which often unfold to be short-lived romances with local celebrities.

KANYE WEST ACCUSES MADONNA OF RACISM AND SEXISM

imageNEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles) – “Kanye is the new Madonna,” the diva told the  New York Daily News today while promoting her new album Rebel Heart. “Kanye is the black Madonna.”

She continued, “We know, and recognize, that we have that in common. We’re comrades in the envelope-pushing genre.

But Kanye West didn’t appreciate Madonna’s comment, accusing her of racism and sexism.

“First of all, I have nothing in common with her,” West said.  “Secondly, for Madonna to call me ‘black’ is racist. What would she feel if I called her the white Madonna?” West added: “I’m a man. For me to be likened to a woman is very offensive.  It’s sexist.”

Kim Kardashian joined her husband in criticizing Madonna for her comments. “I think she has lost her star power and is trying to ride on the coattails of my husband to get back in the limelight,” she said.
