Makati Business Club To Sue VP Leni Robredo For Plagiarism

92701856-B091-4655-A840-344ADECEF119MAKATI CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Makati Bureau) – What you say in public or to the press might come back to haunt you.  This is exactly what’s happening now to Vice President Leni Robredo.

Late last year, Robredo said: “If Federalism is the answer, then what is the question?”

This quote from the VP has resurfaced amid ongoing heated discussion on whether the shift to Federalism is best for the Philippines.

Now, it turns out that Leni’s quote wasn’t original.  It seems to have been copied, word for word, from the Makati Business Club.

Now, the Club is suing Robredo for plagiarism.

Moral of the story:  Think twice before you ask a question. The answer might come in the form of a lawsuit!

We’ve Got A Leaked Copy Of Duterte’s State Of The Nation Address (SONA)

C68D6923-4E88-4A87-BD15-8EBFD6254E9CMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – There is some talk that Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s 3rd State of the Nation Address (SONA) will be his shortest ever — not even the 35 minutes that reliable sources are saying.

By sheer luck, The Adobo Chronicles was able to obtain an advance copy of the President’s SONA which he will deliver next week.

It’s not 35 minutes, but just a few seconds.

Here’s his speech:

”The State of the Nation is strong. Now, mag-merienda na tayo!”

(At this point, Duterte will wink at Vice President Leni Robredo who has confirmed her attendance at the SONA.)
