Health secretary duque dropped the ball, and we’re not talking basketball

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Philippine Health Secretary Francisco Duque “dropped the ball” by failing to submit a confidentiality agreement that would have secured some 10 million doses of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine.

This was disclosed Wednesday by Senator Panfilo Lacson who lamented the Philippines’ missing out on a chance to procure the vaccine.

If this is a case of a key player dropping the ball, shouldn’t the coach, i.e., President Rodrigo Duterte, drop this player from his team?

America: from 50 states down to 49 (texit)

HOUSTON, Texas (The Adobo Chronicles, Houston Bureau) – Claiming the United States federal government no longer represents the values of Texans, a state representative plans to file a bill that would greenlight a referendum giving Texans a vote for secession.

Kyle Biedermann, a Republican who represents district 73 in the Texas House of Representatives, made the announcement on his Twitter and Facebook accounts on Tuesday with the hashtag “Texit.”

If passed, and if voters approve the secession, Texas would follow in the footsteps of Great Britain which “exited” the European Union, a move that is now popularly known as “Brexit.”

The Adobo Chronicles came up with a graphic that shows how America would like with 49 states, minus Texas.
