Canada’s Trudeau And Mexico’s Peña Nieto Strip Down In Ottawa

imageOTTAWA, Canada (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Two of the world’s best-looking and sexiest heads of state did what wasn’t expected of them while in Ottawa, Canada.  They stripped down to their shorts.

Yes, we’re talking about Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Jose Peña Nieto.

But no worries, it’s not what you’re thinking.

The two were scheduled to meet with U.S. President Barack Obama at a summit of North American leaders, also called the Three Amigos summit. Before their scheduled meeting, the two decided to go on an early-morning run as part of their respective fitness routine.  Both wore short shorts to the delight of onlookers.

Too bad, Obama wasn’t able to join them to show off his own sexy legs.

Coming soon after the U.K.’s vote to leave the European Union last week, the summit faces increased pressure to showcase the stability of its own alliance. Climate change will be among topics to be discussed at the summit.

NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – In no time, both presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will be announcing their vice presidential running mates.

Clinton has been rumored lately to be gravitating towards Senator Elizabeth Warren who has been seen campaigning with the former Secretary of State.

As for Trump, it is looking like a toss-up among the women superstars of the GOP — former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, former Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and former Minnesota Representative Michele Bachmann. The trio has been making the rounds of network and cable talk shows putting forward their best soundbites that are all consistent with Trump’s stance on national issues including immigration and gun control.

The Adobo Chronicles’ Presidential Barong Tagalog Survey

image.jpegOn the eve of the inauguration of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte as the 16th president of the Philippines, we turn to fashion — presidential fashion, that is.

While Duterte is no avid fan of the formal attire for Filipino males — the barong tagalog-– he nevertheless agreed to pose for his official photograph.

The mayor had repeatedly said that he dislikes wearing the barong  because it is what people wear at their funerals.  He prefers to wear plain or checkered collared shirts and doesn’t mind wearing his favorites over and over again, even in public.

The Adobo Chronicles is conducting a poll on who our readers think looks more presidential in a barong — Duterte, or NoyNoy Aquino?

Please let us know. (Disregard Aquino’s crumpled look, clipped pen and yellow ribbon on his barong ; or hand inside pocket for both men. We’re more interested in style, bearing and statesman-like aura.)
