BREAKING! President Trump To His Supreme Court Nominee: ‘You’re Fired!’

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – President Donald Trump abruptly withdrew his nomination for Neil Gorsuch to replace the late Antonin Scalia on the U.S. Supreme Court.

In a 3 a.m. tweet in which he tagged Gorsuch, the president said, “You’re fired!”

Trump was apparently enraged that his SC nominee called his tweets about the judiciary “demoralizing” and “disheartening.”

In a meeting with Connecticut Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal, Gorsuch, who’s largely been silent since Trump nominated him last week, took exception to Trump calling a federal judge in Seattle a “so-called judge” after blocking the President’s travel ban.

The Adobo Chronicles tried to reach White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer for comment but we were told that he was on leave.  There have been rumors that he, too, is about to be fired by the president for doing a lousy job as his spokesperson.

Moral of the story: don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

Adobo Chronicles To Replace ABS-CBN News On Malacañang Press Corps

img_9065MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – After it published a fake news item (see screen capture below) that Duterte supporter and blogger Thinking Pinoy, a.k.a. Rey Joseph Nieto has been approved to join the Malacañang Press Corps (MPC), ABS-CBN News was booted out of its spot in the palace journalist pool.

No less than Nieto himself denied the report in a live Facebook update with another Duterte supporter, blogger Sass Rogando Sasot. Both were at a meet and greet event with the president in Malacañang Tuesday, along with other social media bloggers.

In canceling ABS-CBN News’ accreditation to cover the palace, MPC said in a statement that it needs to protect the integrity of the group by distancing itself from outlets that spread fake news.

The Adobo Chronicles was designated to replace ABS-CBN News on MPC.

‘At least, with Adobo Chronicles, what you see is what you get. It tells you exactly which part of its news reports is fact and which is fiction,’ an MPC spokesperson said.
