Fidel Ramos’ Appearance At EDSA People Power Anniversary Raises Questions About His Mental State

EC6B9C8C-2F57-4479-8C8A-09CF53ACA110MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – People’s mental state often manifests itself in how they dress. And that’s exactly why many are asking questions about ex-President Fidel Ramos.

During the EDSA People Power anniversary held last weekend, Ramos, who was one of the VIP guests at the event, seemed to be incoherent about they way he dressed.

Ramos, 89, wore an undershirt over his regular t-shirt, prompting many to ask whether it was a fashion statement or a dementia moment.

Still, others noticed that Ramos was wearing a medal backwards. Literally.

Official photos show Ramos wearing the medal on his back, as opposed to the more accepted way of wearing it on the front.

NoyNoy Aquino Is Exhibit A In Impeachment Complaint Against CJ Sereno

6A1359DC-4F0D-428F-A5DF-C896153517F7MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Former President NoyNoy Aquino has built a solid reputation of blaming everyone else but himself for things that have gone wrong under his administration.

The impeachment case against Chief Justice Lourdes Sereno is no exception.

But while Aquino tried to defend himself by saying that the Judicial Bar and Council (JBC) should be blamed for qualifying Sereno despite her failure to submit her Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Networth (SALN), he in effect admitted that the Chief Justice is not qualified for the position.

24101B47-FB5A-4DF6-8167-D7AD4A684DCEWell, at least, Aquino cleared himself. But now he is Exhibit A in the impeachment complaint against Sereno.

Former President Aquino Talks To Adobo Chronicles About Dengvaxia, Stupidity

6A1359DC-4F0D-428F-A5DF-C896153517F7QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Since stepping down from the presidency in 2016, NoyNoy Aquino has shunned the spotlight and has consistently refused to grant interviews with the news media.

Until now.

Because he is facing criminal charges as a result of the botched Dengavia mass vaccination launched during his presidency, Aquino has agreed to be interviewed by The Adobo Chronicles to defend himself against what he calls ‘false and malicious’ accusations hurled against him by his critics.

Here is a transcript of our interview with PNoy:

AC: You have been accused of putting the lives of close to 1 million school children in danger because of the Dengvaxia mass vaccination program that you authorized while being president.  Your reaction?

PNOY: Dengvaxia doesn’t cause Dengue.  Mosquitoes do.

AC: Filipinos can’t seem to get over that time during your presidency when you chose to attend a cocktail reception hosted by a car manufacturing company over meeting the coffins of the police officers who were killed as a resuilt of the Mamasapano incident?

PNOY: I’m just human.  I need a drink once in a while, especially if it’s free.

AC: You and many of the officials you appointed to cabinet and other top positions in your administration are accused of being stupid.  Your reaction?

PNOY: The brain doesn’t cause stupidity. Drugs do.
