Twitter Ousts Maria Lourdes Sereno!

E8FB007D-21D4-457C-B3E0-D3598CA3B0D6SAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Francisco Bureau) –Twitterers woke up this morning to find that the Twitter account of Maria Lourdes Sereno has been suspended. Well at least those who thought she was the true former Chief Justice of the Philippine Supreme Court.

The Adobo Chronicles asked Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco to explain its decision to oust Sereno.

”She wasn’t qualified to have a Twitter account from the beginning because of fakery, so what we did was simply oust her from Twitterdom on the basis of quo warranto,” a spokesperson said.

FIBA Brawl: Basketball Australia Issues Statement

“Basketball Australia deeply regrets the incident in tonight’s match between the Boomers and the Philippines in Manila. We are extremely disappointed with what happened and our role in it,” Basketball Australia chief executive Anthony Moore said.

“This is not the spirit in which sport should be played and certainly not in the spirit in which we aim to play basketball.

“We apologise to our fans and will await the penalties to be handed down.”

“In hindsight, our players shouldn’t have worn their yellow jersey.  We didn’t realize that the Dilawan (Yellows) are very much hated by the Filipinos.”

Cardinal Tagle To Sue Juana Change For Libel

Nieto, a.k.a. Thinking Pinoy.  Then there’s The Adobo Chronicles suing Rappler and Maria Ressa.  Now even the Catholic Chrurch is joining in the fray.

Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle, the highest church official in the Philippines is suing Juana Change for comparing him to President Rodrigo Duterte.FDC93424-0C08-4CB6-BC06-16321E739F77

“I am a man of God,” Tagle said. “Duterte is, well, a man.  There’s a big difference there.”

Tagle added:  “Duterte and I are both sinners, but the President is more sinful.  He has even cursed our god!”
