If indeed he walks in the footsteps of Jesus, why the trembling reluctance to face accusers or the prospect of arrest? Even Pontius Pilate, sorry, President Bongbong Marcos, stands accused of potential betrayal in this divine comedy. Quiboloy’s paranoia reaches celestial heights, envisioning extraordinary rendition to evade accountability, alleging a modern-day crucifixion. 

But fear not, for even in his hypothetical demise, the promise of resurrection after three days looms large.

In this divine comedy of errors, the script seems to blur between scripture and scandal, leaving us mere mortals to ponder: if he truly holds the divine mantle, why the earthly fear?

The latest 2025 senatorial survey by Octa Research resembles a bizarre mashup of a celebrity awards show and a political circus. 

With almost a third of the potential candidates emerging from the glitzy world of film and TV, it’s as if we’re casting for a reality TV series rather than selecting lawmakers. 

Meanwhile, the stalwarts of the yellow Liberty Party, once touted as political juggernauts, find themselves left in the dust, unable to secure a spot in the coveted Magic 12.

The rest are . . . well, oldies but not necessarily goodies.

Adding insult to injury, we have the predictable presence of political dynasties and a sprinkling of political newbies thrown in for good measure. 

It’s a sad reflection of the entrenched status quo, where the same old faces dominate the landscape, perpetuating the cycle of nepotism and political inertia. 

Welcome to the déjà vu of Philippine politics – where change is nothing but a distant dream, and the absurdity of our electoral process remains a constant source of bemusement for all.

Maharlika’s Latest Fake Document: Which Came First, The Chicken Or The Egg?

In the latest installment of the soap opera we call “Vlogosphere Drama,” vlogger Maharlika takes her audience on a wild ride with her latest upload: a supposed smoking gun implicating Bongbong Marcos in a PDEA bust operation. However, the plot twist is too absurd even for a poorly written telenovela.

Maharlika’s “bombshell” memo conveniently references an “attached pre-operation report” dated the day after the memo itself. One might wonder if this memo came from a time-traveling office, where documents are written yesterday for events happening tomorrow. Or perhaps it’s a nod to the eternal philosophical question: which came first, the chicken or the egg? In this case, which came first, the memo or the report?

Clearly, Maharlika’s attempt at deception is as transparent as her motives. It seems in the vlogging world, fiction sells better than fact-checking, and logic takes a back seat to sensationalism. 

As viewers, let’s grab some popcorn and enjoy the show, but remember: reality is not a clickbait title.
