AI: Philippine Tea House Goes High Tech!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – If you want an essay or thesis written for you, there’s an app for that. Using AI (Artificial Intelligence) of course! As in ChatGBT.

Now, if you want to order and have some tea, there’s a tea house for that. And yes, using AI!

In an obscure neighborhood in Metro Manila, customers are lining up to have some tea at the ChaiGPT.

The new establishment offers a variety of teas from all over the world. Confused customers will have a difficult time choosing which one to order.

No problem.

Upon entering the tea house, customers just need to look into an installed standing camera by the door and AI reads their minds and preferences. In just seconds, AI determines and decides the kind of tea that best suits the customers’ tastes, mood and personality. No waiting!

Easy as one, two three!

ANGKAT BUHAY: Leni Robredo Proposes New Immigration Policy To Attract Foreign Manpower!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Ex-Vice President Leni Robredo is back in the limelight after a year of her embarrassing loss to Bongbong Marcos in the 2022 presidential elections.

Robredo has been busy beefing up her pet project, Angat Buhay, collaborating with other Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to create what she is describing as the largest volunteer network in the Philippines.

The ex-VP has other worthy projects in mind.

Concerned about the problem of “brain drain” whereby Filipino professionals are leaving the country to work and live abroad, Robredo is proposing a new campaign she is calling “Angkat Buhay.”

In her proposal, Robredo urged appropriate agencies in the Marcos administration to encourage foreign nationals to work and live in the Philippines as a way to replace the outgoing Filipino professionals.

“We need to replace our domestic manpower resources,” she said, “by opening our country to foreigners who wish to work and live here, visa-free and tax-free.”

Robredo volunteered to head a new department she wants to call DAB: Department of Angkat Buhay.

Senator Robin Padilla Wants Filipino Translation, Comic Book To Explain Maharlika Investment Fund!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Saying many Filipinos do not understand anything about the newly-passed bill, Maharlika Investment Fund, Senator Robin Padilla is proposing a Filipino translation of the measure and all accompanying documents.

Padilla also wants to come up with a comic book to explain MIF to the masses.

The Senator said that if former political candidates Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo can produce their campaign comic books to reach as many voters as possible, “why can’t we ‘komikize’ the MIF?”

He added that Filipinos look up to their comic book heroes so a Maharlika comic book will peak their interest in the complicated financial bill.
