Former Miss International Sues Prada For $1,000 Plus Emotional Damages!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – She bought a pair of Prada designer shoes for $965 plus tax, and now Aurora Pijuan is suing the company for $1,000 plus an undisclosed financial claim for emotional damages.

The 1970 Miss International from the Philippines stated in her deposition that the expensive shoes gave her blisters which caused her pain and embarrassment.

In her tweet, Pijuan said that the local bakya (wooden clogs) is way more comfortable that her Pradas, not to mention it only costs P50 or the equivalent of $1.

Pijuan told The Adobo Chronicles that now she understands why Meryl Streep made the movie, “The Devil Wears Prada,” adding that the expensive designer shoe comes with evil consequences.
