Latest Poll: UniTeam, 100%; Leni-Kiko, 0%!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau)- The latest Philippine presidential poll was released on Easter Sunday, and it all but trumped all the other polls — from SWS to Pulse Asia, from Publicus Asia to Octa Research, from Kalye to the 7-Eleven SpeakCup.

In a never-before-done polling involving Filipino children aged 4 to 7, the BBM-Sara UniTeam garnered 100% of votes to Leni-Kiko’s 0%. The children were given two baskets each to fill with Easter eggs during the tradition egg hunt. The result? All the kids filled the UniTeam basket and left the Leni-Kiko basket totally empty.

There is no stopping the UniTeam from winning in the May 9, 2022 elections, dominating the preferences of Filipinos from all geographic locations, class, gender and sexual orientation, and age group.

New York Times ’Predicts’ Another Marcos Presidency In The Philippines!

NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, New York Bureau) – It was trying its best to be diplomatic and cautious, but The New York Times has all but ”predicted” another Marcos presidency in the Philippines.

NYT had no choice. All scientific polls show that the son of the greatest Philippine president ever, Bongbong Marcos, is leading by a wide margin over his closest rival, Vice President Leni Robredo.

NYT is known to have been biased against the Marcoses, and current President Rodrigo Duterte for that matter, but being a respected, supposedly respectable and unbiased news source in America and the rest of the world, it has no choice but to speak the truth.

The camp of Robredo is not happy about the NYT prediction, and neither are the biased Philippine news media like Maria Ressa’s Rappler. But it is what it is. As Ressa keeps on saying, ”Without facts, we can’t have truth. Without truth, we can’t have trust, and without trust, we can’t have Democracy.”

But between Rappler and The New York Times, it is obvious that Filipinos and other trust the latter.

The Curious Case Of The Non-Existent Sex Video Of Aika Robredo

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Vice President Leni Robredo vowed to take legal action. The Department of Justice, Office of Cyber Crime has launched an investigation. Senator Risa Hontiveros calls it ”downright misogynistic.” Senator Leila De Lima described it as “toxic and utterly vile.” The women’s group GABRIELA called it “online sexual harassment.” And Senatorial candidate Atty. Chel Diokno said someone must be held responsible for the ”alleged lewd video.,”

They all were, of course, talking about the ”sex video” of Robredo’s daughter Aika.

The case, if filed in court, will be high-profile, juicy, unprecedented and headline-grabbing, especially when it is time for prosecutors to present their Exhibit A.

But alas, there is no Exhibit A because there is no video. It is a curious case of a sex scandal gone viral. Yet no one, absolutely no one, has produced any evidence. Unless, of course, there are plans to make the video after the fact to justify an indictment and court trial. Against whom? That’s the other X factor.

At best, the whole issue is ripe for another film series by director Darryl Yap, a sequel perhaps to the ”Len-Len” episodes.
