BAGUIO CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Baguio Bureau) – In Baguio City, the Philippines’ Summer Capital, front liners, including police officers, are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) at all times.
The city is known for the discipline of its citizens particularly in following mandated health protocols aimed at curbing the further spread of the coronavirus.
As seen in the photo, taken along the city’s main thoroughfare, Session Road which is closed to vehicular traffic on Sundays, police officers wear their PPEs with pride: face mask, face shield, hand gloves and g-string.
Way to go, Baguio!
