BREAKING: CIA Tried To Spy On Philippine President Duterte

TAGBILARAN CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Bohol Bureau) – A video clip showing a cockroach landing on Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte’s shoulder has gone viral.

The bug popped up on Duterte as he was extolling the virtues of the candidates he has endorsed for next week’s midterm polls at a campaign rally late Wednesday.

Today, Malacañang confirmed the  bugging incident, saying the cockroach was found to be an electronic bug traced to the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

”The CIA tried but failed to spy on the President,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said.

In this age of missiles and drones, it seems like the CIA is still resorting to old-fashioned bugging equipment.

Did The Bishops Drop Grace Poe From Their Magic 12 List?

However, Filipinos can’t help but notice that the bishops’ list shows one candidate whose name was stricken out and replaced with Senator Francis Tolentino.

Immediately, netizens speculated on which candidate the bishops chose, then subsequently dropped. Many believe it was Senator Grace Poe.

Poe, along with Cynthia Villar,  consistently topped the list in previous surveys conducted by SWS, Pulse Asia and other polling groups.

If indeed the cancelled name was that of Poe, she has no reason to say “salamat Poe” to the independent bishops.
