MOUNTAIN VIEW, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Jose Bureau) – U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent assault on Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei is getting big boost from American tech giant Google, but all in fair competition.
Google is about to unveil its latest phone that will be the company’s answer to Huawei’s newest product in the market —the Y9 Prime 2019 phone.
The Y9 was launched on May 13, 2019. It comes with a 6.59-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340 pixels at a PPI of 391 pixels per inch.
Google says its new phone will be smarter, faster and more attractive than Huawei’s Y9.
More importantly, Google is naming its phone HAWAII.
Is this another direct assault on the Chinese company, or an attempt to confuse and dupe smartphone customers? Huawei. Hawaii.
