MAKATI CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Makati Bureau) – What you say in public or to the press might come back to haunt you.  This is exactly what’s happening now to Vice President Leni Robredo.

Late last year, Robredo said: “If Federalism is the answer, then what is the question?”

This quote from the VP has resurfaced amid ongoing heated discussion on whether the shift to Federalism is best for the Philippines.

Now, it turns out that Leni’s quote wasn’t original.  It seems to have been copied, word for word, from the Makati Business Club.

Now, the Club is suing Robredo for plagiarism.

Moral of the story:  Think twice before you ask a question. The answer might come in the form of a lawsuit!
