LONDON, United Kingdom (The Adobo Chronicles, Berline Bureau) – Philippines’ Vice President Leni Robredo denied rumors that it was billionaire George Soros who invited her and funded her trip to London for a speaking engagement at the London School of Economics (LSE). Soros, whom President Rodrigo Duterte had said is funding the Human Rights Watch that is critical of his administration, is one of the most prominent alumni of LSE.
But in an exclusive interview with The Adobo Chronicles, Robredo said that it was not Soros but rock singer Mick Jagger (Rolling Stones) who arranged for her appearance at LSE. Jagger also attended LSE.
So, is Jagger a fan of Robredo, or is Robredo a fan of Jagger?
